West Virginia Kratom Laws

Kratom is legal in West Virginia.

West Virginia became the eighth state in the nation to impose regulations on kratom through the

Kratom Consumer Protection Act.

Gov. Jim Justice signed into law Senate Bill 220, the Industrial Hemp Development Act, which includes the Select Plant-Derived Regulation Act: Kratom.

Advocates are actively working so that kratom remains legal.

They are a national grassroots organization that will help lead the advocacy efforts as we fight state bans, share correct information about kratom, and push passage of state and federal Kratom Consumer Protection Acts.
