Over the past week there have been a slew of kratom articles popping up on the internet. We are all used to seeing the fear mongering articles of local news stations comparing a natural plant leaf in the same family as coffee (Rubicae) to bath salts and synthetic marijuana (spice). Even though these articles are still out there, we’re starting to see a refreshing change of tone in others. Leading the frontlines of this new tone is Paul Kemp whose article “The Kratom Revolution Won’t Be Televised” was published last Friday on Natural News. In this article he speaks out against the dangers of pharmaceuticals and the media while advocating kratom as a positive way for people to recover from doctor prescribed addictions. It is media attention like this that give us hope for the future of our beloved leaf. Thanks Paul!
