Floridians: Kratom Will Remain Safe and Available
A Winning Strategy for Today and Tomorrow

Proven excellence in protecting that which matters most, your right to choose

Good news.

House subcommittees conclude their work for the 2017 session this week and HB183 to ban kratom will not be considered.

We should all be proud of this accomplishment. Whether you wrote a heartfelt letter using our template, called in as a concerned citizen to each individual Legislators, or donated your hard earned money to the BEA, you played an integral part in educating legislators on the safety and efficacy of kratom.

With your support, we were able to educate key legislators, in particular, the over 40 new members who had never seen legislation regarding kratom before this point. Thanks to our all-star caliber lobby firm, we effectively did that job.

Now, we are finally able take a moment to breathe and appreciate the success of preventing a pivotal state like Florida from a kratom ban.

That being said, this issue will likely be back next session in 2018, but given our efforts to date and continued strength we feel confident that Kratom will continue to be held safe and available for all Floridians.

So, what now?

Within Florida, our only task is to continue working and educating lawmakers so that we increase our support to the point where it becomes futile to even try to pass legislation.

If you’d like to support this initiative with $5 or $10 dollars, please don’t hesitate to do so!
