URGE THE MARYVILLE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
TO KEEP KRATOM LEGAL!
Dear Kratom Warriors:
We need your help today to keep kratom legal.
The Maryville, IL Board of Trustees will be meeting tomorrow to consider a ban on kratom.
Make no mistake, if they pass this ban, more proposed bans in Illinois will come.
We need you to send an email immediately to the Board of Trustees and ask them to keep kratom legal and to share your positive experience with kratom.
As you write your email, please remember the following:
- Always be respectful and to the point.
- If you are a Maryville, IL or Illinois resident, please identify yourself. While it’s important for them to hear from everyone, the emails from local residents will carry extra significance
- Share with them your personal story about how kratom has helped you or a loved one
- If you don’t feel comfortable sharing a personal story, just ask them to “Follow the science on kratom and to please keep it legal”
- PLEASE ONLY SUBMIT ONE EMAIL. We’ve seen it backfire when supporters submit multiple emails.
